NAFED Procurement (PSS 2025–26) Started
NAFED in collaboration with Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board has initiated the procurement of Tur and Bengal Gram (Chana) under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) 2025 – 26 at Vishalakshi Farmers Producer Company Limited, Tattu Jawala, Parbhani. Farmers can register and sell their produce at the procurement centre as per government guidelines. The minimum support price (MSP) has been fixed at ₹8000 for Tur and ₹5875 for Bengal Gram (Chana). Farmers are requested to bring necessary documents such as 7/12 extract, aadhaar card, bank passbook, and aadhaar-linked mobile number for registration. This initiative aims to ensure fair pricing, reduce distress selling, and support farmers in securing better returns for their produce.
Farmer Awareness Program
A Farmer Awareness Program has been organized under the Gramin Krushi Mausam Seva initiative by Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani.
The program aims to educate farmers about weather based agricultural practices, crop planning, and risk management. Esteemed experts including Dr. D. R. Kadam Sir and Dr. K. K. Dakhore Sir will guide farmers, while Shri Narayanrao Kadam Sir, Sarpanch of Tattu Jawala, will preside over the event. The session will provide valuable insights to help farmers improve productivity and make informed farming decisions. All farmers are encouraged to participate in this informative program scheduled at Vishalakshi Farmers Producer Company Limited, Tattu Jawala, Parbhani.
